She’s back!

•August 20, 2008 • 1 Comment

Some one throw some water on our awesome Shawna Schaub because she went from smoking hot to on fire!  She has been sending us shoots left and right and today we bring you a little cutie patootie with those blue blue eyes….

How can you resist a shot like this?

Some B&W images done in classic Shawna style.

Way cute!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this image!  It has a warm glow with a seriousness - except for that funny little cracker.  For some crazy reason I even love the out of place tiny little fishy cracker… which is totally not normal for me to love something out of place.  But doesn’t he have great hair?!   :)

One Mr. blue eyes with some text coming right up.

We’ll finish up with this B&W that has a little bit of an arty effect vs the normal “Shawna style”.  A close up - my favorite kind!

Shawna Schaub strikes again.

We bring you another senior shoot by the design photographer, Shawna Schaub.  We rocked these images out with some fun grungy guy textures.  Check out this photogenic guy…

I love this texture and color combo on this image.

Just a bit of zoom blur going on in this ally shot.

Can’t help but be drawn to that “Appointed Design” green and black!

Loving that bright color with this “I’m a jock” shot.

A little texture, dark border and text.  What could be better for a senior guy?

We’ll end with some “Shawna” style B&W.  Look at those eyes.  I think that I saw this in a bigger than life size print in the mall.  Now, what was the name of that store again. :)

More Shawna Schaub

Man, is Shawna on fire these days.  Today we bring you yet another Shawna Schaub shoot and this time we got brothers.  You’ll see a little more of that photography by design in this shoot.  Shawna works with her clients to customize prints and products for there needs… ya, that’s the design part.  Today we’re bring you some long horizontals that are going to fit right into the interior design of this clients home.  Check it out.

This first one has some subtle textures going into play that help make those boys really pop.

Look at those guys kissing… to sweet.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the next two.  You know how I am with close ups!!

To perfect!  Look at how he has his feet crossed.

Cutie #1…

And cutie #2.  Well, I guess they are both #2.   :)

Can you tell that there is an orange theme going into play here?  Orange as in the color not the fruit… that’s a peach.

Here is that Shawna style sepia.

One more bright horizontal.

We’ll end this one with a mom and dad shot of the day - done again in that “Shawna style” sepia.

Who is in high demand?

Another shoot by Shawna Schaub photography by design.  Hot so hot, is the demand of our lovely Shawna.  Today we have another portrait shoot of a cutie with true baby blues.  Shawna loves natural looking color images but is known for her “Shawna style” B&Ws and golden sepias.  The color of these images was so awesome right out of the camera that I was nervous she might think them to be a bit over saturated… but gorgeous they are!  She really rocked this “little one” session that typically could be very hard.  Check it out.

There are those baby blues…  Looks like a Pottery Barn ad - don’t you think?

Some old vintage texture.

A few whimsical textures to go with that red chair!

There is that “Shawna style” B&W.  Check out those eyes!

Too cute!!

A little more vintage paper look.

We’ll end with a ride home and some more color.

Off to the country…

Let’s giddy up and go out to the wild, wild west.  Okay, the mid west anyway.  What an inspiring senior shoot.  The talented design photographer, Shawna Schaub was behind the camera for this one.  I have to thank her for allowing us to work with these images and push the limits a bit.  She came to us asking for a “stellar” product to give to her client and I’m thinking that is what they will be whistling.

I LOVE the effect the back light and textures give in this image.  They just draw your eye into the subject - kinda like a bug to a bug zapper.

Oh, can you see the canvas??

Here is the giddy up an go… and bare back!!!  How cool is that?

I can’t resist those close ups!

A little bit of girly cuteness.

HELLO cow girl!

“We’re not in Kansas anymore.”  This one is done in total Schaub style.

Finishing with a custom grad card.

Thanks again to Shawna for letting us take this shoot out a bit to her “photography by design” style.

A little bit of cuteness

Here are a few from a resent shoot done by Shawna Schaub.  This was a cute 1 year old shoot.  I’m playing around with blog water marks today.  Lets see…

Looks like a bit of a red head… I’m bonding already!

I just love her expression in this one.   :)

A little sleepy eyed stretch.

Lovin all that cute pure whiteness against the dark green grass.

Just roll with it.

When you are out there shooting do ever just have to go with the flow of things?  You plan and scout out your shoot ahead of time and… well, sometimes you just get something like this image below.  I’m sure that most parents wouldn’t choose a large canvas of this shot, but it makes for a great memory!   :)

This image comes by way of Shawna Schaub photography by design.  A big shout out to Shawna for making the jump to outsource to us.  Look for more to come.

Family Shoot

•July 28, 2008 • 1 Comment

Here are a few favorites from a family shoot that I was privileged to work on.  It was shot by the lovely Nicole Neff.  Check out this little cutie.

A few of Mom and Dad too.

“Hay, what ya doing?”   :)

We’ll end with a cool garden shot of the family.  Can you say color?

Give me more THG photography

•July 24, 2008 • 1 Comment

Yes, more THG seniors.  The fabulous Janet has done it again with another rockin shoot.  This one was full of color and the cutest dimples I’ve ever seen!!  Here are a few of my favorites.

This on makes me want to take a vacation.  Actually, any image makes me want a vacation.   :)

Doesn’t this look like what dreams are like?  Soft & peaceful.

Vintage look going on…

Cute & sweet.

Can you say giant canvas?  Oh ya!

I love color pops as much as the next guy but this image just takes my heart!  It has such a calm yet raw feel to it with a gold over tone.  My fav of this shoot!

Where’s the beef?

•July 23, 2008 • 1 Comment

Okay, maybe that was a cheesy title.

I don’t know if I’ve said it enough, so once again…. I loooove creative clients.  And that is Janet!  Is this a shoot for Angus?  No, it’s once again a senior rocked out THG style - always changing - always fresh - always tailored to her clients!

Check these first few out.  I had to post them just because you don’t see this everyday.  At first it cracked me up but then I really loved this first image.  There is a ton of detail.  Look at the dust floating in the air - you know me, I’m the detail girl!  And, it’s not everyday that as an editor I get to brighten the eyes of a COW!

We’ll title this, “old girl #5″ … maybe “old boy #5″  Who knows??

This sun flare is gorgeous!!  I don’t think that all flares are all some talk them up to be, but this one… Oh my, have you ever seen such warm soft light, awesome color and still a great profile??

Okay, here are some portraits with out cows… just a cattle chute. :)  I guess there are a few in the back ground.

There is that color you were waiting for.

My fav!  LOVE, LOVE and LOVE those close ups!

And we’ll finish with a total THG style - freedom shot.   Ya, a few more cows too! :)
